First Full 3D Digital Scale Model Of The Titanic Wreck

Technology has been used to reveal a full scale model of the Titanic Wreck which lies 12,500ft below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean.
Technological advances have made it possible to render a unique full scale 3D view of the entire Titanic wreck. That is exactly what was done. Remotely controlled submersibles were used to take over 700 thousand images from every angle. This enables and exact high resolution re-construction of the wreck.
With such outstanding high definition digitization, it is as though the entire ocean around it has been drained.
Watch the following exclusive coverage by BBC news in the clip below for additional details.
It is hoped that this full digital rendering will provide insights about how this catastrophe happened back in 1912 that killed 1500 people.
