Scuba Diving To Burn Calories

It is often overlooked that scuba diving is great for burning calories.
Keeping fit for scuba diving is very important for various health reasons in addition to reducing risks associated with diving which includes decompression sickness. The good news is that scuba diving can be great for losing weight.
According to PADI scuba divers can burn from 300 to about 600 calories per hour while diving. The calorie burn rate has to do with the body’s ability to thermoregulate. Therefore, accordingly, the calorie burn rate depends greatly on the temperature of the water in which you are diving.

Calorie counting and scuba diving
Being fit and healthy should be a top priority when it comes to scuba diving. Physical health not only enhances your experience and performance, but it also affects safety. Lose weight by scuba diving

So yes, it is possible, at least anecdotally, to lose weight simply by scuba diving.
