Swimming With Orcas – A Wild and Freezing Expedition In Norway

Its not every day that a diver gets to swim with orcas. Especially the wild winter orcas of Norway. Needless to say, this is an arctic expedition that is not for the faint of heart.

This 5 day expedition takes a group of divers/snorkelers out to swim with and observe pods of feeding orcas off Norway.

As you will see in the clip below, these divers have to brave the weather as well as rough sees to get up finally close with these orcas after many failed attempts.

Their trip begins in Tromso Norway aboard the “Polar Front”, a refitted 1970’s expedition ship. although they had to brave the ice, wind and frigid temperatures for this chance of a lifetime, this onboard accusations were amazing/

Watch the amazing arctic expedition in the YouTube clip below to get a glimpse of an expedition to the arctic circle to go swimming with orcas would be like.
