Meet Mutley a scuba diving dog. Gene Alba is a scuba diving enthusiast , a long time diver himself, wanted to share his diving experiences with his dog, Mutley.
Gene used his over 20 years of diving experience to design and develop scuba gear for his pooch. This endeavor ended up costing him around $40,000 to complete.
Gene’s design was successfully tested in his back yard pool and after some amount of practice Mutley got the hang of scuba diving. He, Mutley, is even a certified diver now. In fact, most likely the worlds first and only certified canine scuba diver.
