Surfer Had To Punch Shark During Competition

Mick Fanning had to punch a shark during  the J-Bay Open. (Video)

Mick Fanning, Australian pro surfer, was attacked by two sharks during the finals of the J-Bay Open in South Africa. This was the first time anything like this has happened during a live pro surfing event.

Fortunately Fanning escaped the incident without harm. The following video shows the whole event as well as a brief interview with Fanning when he was picked up by Water Safety.
