Wild Dolphin Returns To Surprise Diver

We all know and understand that dolphins are intelligent animals, but they can still surprise and delight us.
Methods for measuring intelligence among different species of animals isn’t an easy assignment. That being said, they are known to be one of the smartest animals in the world.
How Smart Are Dolphins?
Current tests for intelligence indicate that dolphins do not possess the same cognitive abilities as humans and are thus not the “smarter” species.
Like humans, dolphins possess the ability to beneficially alter their surroundings, solve problems, and form complex social groups. However, dolphins do not display indicators of tool usage, problem solving, and structured discussion to the degree that humans do.

In the following clip a wild dolphin demonstrates its ability to learn by just watching a free diver adjust his fin.
What is surprising is, this dolphin was smart enough to return to the same spot a day later with a fin ( where did it come from?) to play fetch. I wonder if dolphins keep a stash of found objects for later use?
Watch below
Its amazing how the dolphin is able to balance and toss the fin to the diver as they played a game of fetch for hours.
